Kindness Matters!

Paris Story

Hi, my name is “Paris”, and I am 17 years old. I was asked to share my story and I didn’t at first because people are so judgmental and rude but after some consideration, I will tell it my way short and sweet.

First, I am a biracial girl, mother is white, and dad is Mexican. I don’t know why that matters but here we go…

I was molested from the age of 7 to 9 or 10 by my mom’s cousin, she was a girl by the way. I told my mom about it, but she didn’t believe me because her cousin wasn’t gay. My father was in and out of jail for beating my mom and drugs. At the age of 14 my mom had a party, and I was ganged raped by her friends while she watched. She was high, I guess. I ran away to one of my friends’ houses. I told her mom what happened, and she took me to the hospital. My life has been HELL and I don’t understand why my mom had me if she didn’t want me.

Couple of years go by and I started dating a boy. I really thought he cared for me until I couldn’t wear makeup, certain clothes and I had to be home by 9p. One day at church we had a speaker talk about control, anger and abuse. She handed us some papers called Teen Talk about Respect and Love. I did some research and started following Quality Day Foundation on IG. I learned a lot and we are no longer together. Yes, it got crazy for a few months, but I can handle myself. I take it day by day. I will graduate 2023, wish me luck!

Oh, I don’t talk to my mom or dad anymore. My friend family took me in, and we moved.

Short and sweet
